Following the colossus destruction and wreckages of properties and farmlands in Isanlu and other neighbouring communities in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Emmanuel Obaro representing Yagba East Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly has appealed for urgent support and intervention from Kogi State Government and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to come to the rescue of the people of his constituency by providing immediate palliatives and assistance to ease the quantum loss currently being experienced by the people.
He made the appeal during his on the spot visit to the affected households and communities in Yagba East to sympathize and commiserate with the people on the high level of havoc that was wrecked by the heavy rain storm in the area.
The House Member who expressed sadness over the colossal loss, encourages the people to accept the incident as an act of God praying that God Almighty will restore all the losses and damages in the affected households.
It would be recalled that heavy down pour of rain at midnight of Sunday 21st of April 2024, wrecking havoc on many houses and properties in Isanlu the headquarter of Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State.
