Okpanachi was confirmed on Wednesday by the lawmakers during the house plenary in Lokoja.
It was gathered that, the Commissioner was asked to take a bow and go by the lawmakers.
The new Commissioner is an indigene of Idah Local Government Area of the State.
Meanwhile, Kogi State Multi-door court house and other matters connected therewith, bill 2024, and Kogi State HIV and Aids based discrimination and protection of the right and dignity of people living with and affected by HIV and AIDS and related matters, bill 2024 have passed through first readings in the Kogi State House of Assembly.
The house has adjourned sitting to 30th April 2024.
