Eid-el-Kabir: Kogi AG Habibat Oyiza distributes food items to Kogites

Kogi State Accountant-General, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Onumoko, has in the spirit of the Eid-el-Kabir, reached out to women, non indigenous groups in Kogi State and traditional rulers, distributing rams, rice, cash gifts and other items.

The AG also extended her philanthropic reach to religious leaders and the people with disabilities in the state.

According to the AG, it was an effort done in the spirit of the festivity and to follow the tradition of her leader, His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo who is committed to catering for the welfare of the people of the state down to the grassroot.

She said, “there is no doubt that things are very hard now. It’s a national issue, but I’m having the belief that the hardship is a temporary one”.

“His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo knows your critical needs and that is why he has prioritized the welfare of workers, women, youths and the farmers in the state.”

“What this government need from all of you is your continuous co-operation and prayers for the success of this administration.”, she added.

The gesture garnered heartfelt appreciations from the beneficiaries and left smiles on their faces.

They prayed God bless the governor of Kogi State and bless the Accountant-General of the State with strength, long life and divine upliftments.
