Anuwe Monday Declares his Intention to Contest the Councillorship position for Aiyeromi Ward of Ogori Magongo Council Area.

Ahead of the proposed local government areas council elections across the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State, a grassroots community mobilizer Anuwe Anthony Monday has declared his intention to contest for the councillor position of Aiyeromi Ward of Ogori Magongo Local Government Area under the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

Mr Anuwe Anthony Monday has made his intention known to news men in Lokoja during a telephone chat with the publisher of the Reflection Newspaper.

Mr Anuwe said that his decision to contest is borne out of his desire to serve his own people and to provide his rich political and administrative experiences to bear on Ogori community. He said he has wide experience in local government administration for over 25 years.
” I Will use my wealth of experience in conjunction with other stakeholders in the ward to draw developments in some specific areas in such areas as primary education, health care,
water supply, rehabilitation of feeder roads and provision of security to the ward through meaningful presentation and engagement of the local government authority and by extension with the state government.”
Anuwe Anthony Monday is a graduate of University of Ado Ekiti and a holder of a
degree in education management.

He attended LSMB Primary school Ogori/Magongo for his primary school certificate and later proceeded to
CCHS, Ogori for his secondary school certificate. Monday was a student at the
Federal College of Education, Okene where he obtained his NCE before putting in for his degree programme at the University of Ado Ekiti.

Mr. Monday Anuwe started his working career as a primary school teacher and later joined the local government education department where he
served as Departmental Security Officer(DSO) for years and later education secretary of the local government.
Mr. Anuwe is committed to transform his ward and Ogori/Mangogo by extension. He is soliciting for your support for the task ahead and he has promised to be responsive to the needs of the good people of Aiyeromi Ward and Ogori/ Mangogo at large.
