THE BASELESS ALLEGATIONS AND ACCUSATIONS BY THE FACELESS GROUP THAT CALL THEMSELVES KOGI LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE FORUM (KLF) – POLITICAL DESPERATION TAKEN OVER THE BAR

The minds of the the people that clandestinely lumped themselves in an amorphous group that tagged themselves “Kogi Leadership Initiative Forum (KLIF)” with recent allegations of bias in the Federal government appointments ought not to be accorded any courtesy of response. However, since these faceless individuals have attempted to tarnish the reputation of a dedicated and patriotic leader who has always prioritise fairness and equity in his leadership approach with an unfounded allegations driven by political motives than actual evidence, for the sake of the unsuspecting Kogi people, certain clarification has become imperative.
To start with, Hon. James Faleke has been a very steadfast and patriotic leader in Nigeria and not just Kogi State for many years, with a track record of fairness and equity in his leadership approach. Except in the eyes of the gullible ones like those in the so called KLF, he has never shown any signs of tribalism or ethnic biases, he has always strived to promote the welfare of all human beings regardless of their background.
It is important to note that many of those who are now benefiting from our party the APC and the ruling party in Kogi State and surely in this faceless group were never members of the party back in 2014 when the late Prince Abubaker Audu and Haddy Ametuo the pioneer Kogi State Chairman led our Kogi State team to the Musa Yar’adua house where the party was formed. They were never going to be our members until APC roundly defeated them at both the Presidential and gubernatorial election of 2015.
The Rt. Hon. Faleke and other founding members worked diligently to establish the party in Abuja and all over the country, they have since continued to support its growth and development in Kogi State. Those now enjoy all forms of patronage of the party at both the state and at Federal level were not with us until our party got to power
They never saw anything wrong or criticise the huge lopsided approach of Kogi state government appointments under the over sixteen years stewardship of People Democratic party that has never been fair, equitable, merit and even suitable for the positions.
Placing the right people in the right roles, regardless of their tribe or background is the major positive approach and consideration of APC at all levels.
The appointments made by the Federal present Government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been most inclusive and diverse, reflecting a commitment to fairness and equality. The allegations made by KLF are not only unfounded but also hypocritical, given their own history of political bias and exclusion
The baseless allegations against the person of Hon. Faleke can only emanate from the same group of people that have solely occupied the political offices in Kogi State from inception and who does not believe in the equality and fairness in the sharing of political office among the three Senatorial Districts of Kogi State.
Those who are making these accusations have ulterior motives and should be thoroughly investigated. They are simply trying to tarnish the reputation of the man who have done more than many of the Kogi leaders in touching the lives and welfare of downtrodden masses of Kogi State.
Hon Faleke has consistently demonstrated his commitment to promoting the welfare of all individuals, regardless of their background and ethnicity. His track record speaks for itself, and it is clear that he has always strived to place the right people in the right roles, based on merit and suitability
In view of the current situation in Nigeria, members of the faceless group so called KLF and their unfounded allegations against the Federal government and any individual should be taken with a grain of salt and their sponsors must be made to face the full wrath of the law.
It is important that these baseless accusations are not given any credibility and those responsible for spreading misinformation against individual and the state are held accountable for their actions. Hon. Faleke deserves to be commended for his dedication and selfless service to the people of Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
It is also most crucial that the people of Kogi State ignore the malicious attempts of groups like KLF to undermine the reputation of honorable and dedicated leaders like Hon. Faleke. The truth will always prevail, and those who seek to deceive and manipulate for their own selfish interests will ultimately face the consequences of their actions.
