Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, recently appointed as Security Adviser for Ankpa federal constituency has expressed his commitment towards bringing his wealth of experience and technical know-how in improving security and enhancing peace across Ankpa federal constituency.

In a message to the people of Ankpa federal constituency, Hon. Ahmed conveyed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for the trust imposed on him and pledged to build on the administration’s steady efforts towards making Kogi state a nightmare and a no-go-area for criminals and their cohorts.

Hon. Ahmed, a former two-term assembly member and deputy speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, brings a strong background in security management to his new role. Certified as a counter-terrorism expert, a member of the institute of peace and conflict resolution, and a chartered mediator, Hon. Ahmed’s wealth of experience has positioned him to diligently and meticulously execute the role and task assigned to him by the executive governor of Kogi state.

Appreciating Governor Ododo’s commitment to creating a safer Kogi State, Hon. Ahmed promised to work tirelessly to support the administration’s initiatives and to collaborate closely with local leaders, security agencies, and residents.

“Security today is not just about physical protection, but about creating a foundation where every citizen feels secure and can thrive. He urged the people of Ankpa constituency to be stakeholders in the business of security, and on his part, he will adopt an open door policy. If you see something, say something – because the bedrock of security is intelligence gathering” Hon. Ahmed stated.

“Governor Ododo’s leadership in prioritizing the safety of our communities is commendable, and I am fully committed to consolidating his administration’s doggedness in fighting insecurity,” he concluded.
