*…Applauds Governor Ododo, Assures Ankpa Federal Constituency and Kogi State of Safety*
The Zonal Security Adviser to the Kogi State Governor for Ankpa Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, accompanied Governor Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo to the flag-off ceremony of the Forward Operating Base (FOB) of the Nigerian Military in Bagana, Omala Local Government Area on Monday.
Hon. Ahmed Mohammed commended Governor Ododo’s commitment to improving security in Kogi State. He noted that the establishment of the FOB would enhance safety in Omala and neighboring areas, particularly Ankpa Federal Constituency.
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed assured the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency and Kogi State at large of the government’s commitment to their safety.
“This Forward Operating Base is a testament to Governor Ododo’s dedication to the security of our people,” Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed said. “With this facility, Omala and neighboring communities, including Ankpa Federal Constituency, can now experience a greater sense of safety and peace.”
The newly inaugurated FOB is strategically positioned in the Bagana community to enhance the rapid response capabilities of the Nigerian Military and curb criminal activities in Omala Local Government Area and beyond.
Governor Ododo, while addressing the gathering, reiterated his administration’s commitment to prioritizing the safety of all citizens.
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed further assured the people of Ankpa Federal Constituency of continued efforts to address their security concerns, emphasizing that the administration remains steadfast in its resolve to combat insecurity and promote development across Kogi State.
