Thank God, the community has successfully surmounted the courage and applied patient to get all issues resolved, hence the official coronation as the Obajemu of Iffe is to be witnessed this very weekend. The event is holding at the playground of Iffe Commercial Secondary School, Iffe under the chairmanship of Air Commodore Adekunle Obayemi (Rtd.)

Oba Jemilo, was born in Iffe in the early part of 1970s to Late Mr. and Mrs David Omotunde Jemilo. He had his primary and secondary school education in Iffe before proceeding to Federal Polytechnic Nassarawa. He worked in several places within and outside Kogi State.
Oba Alayeluwa Jemilo is very agile, cold headed and calculative. He has strong passion for the development of his community.
Iffe is a busy community, located along Kabba-Omuo road. The people are hospitable, industrious, progressive, supportive and committed to community self help development. It is a place known for it education prowess having being the first community in Ijumu Arin to have the first standard six as far back as 1948 or thereabout. Most of the development projects presently seen in the town were done through communality with little support from the government. It is a community that is rich in history and tradition.
As the people of the community join hands to celebrate the official coronation of their brand new king, I, Dele Olonilebi personally rejoice with Oba Moses Kolawole Jemilo on this very important occasion. I also pray for him to live long and may he be blessed with Solomonic wisdom to lead our people right. His tenure shall witness peace and progress in Iffe community. Let us walk and work together with new Kabiyesi and his traditional council for the progress of Iffe.
