The publisher of TheReflection newspaper and magazine, Mr Felix Udebu has expressed his appreciation to Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu, the Executive Chairman of Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State for her well-considered appointment extended to Hon. (Mrs.) Esther Titilayo Amode as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Executive Chairman of the council area on Agriculture. According to Mr Udebu, this appointment came shortly after the sudden demise of her husband, late Joshua Amode in early October, 2024
The media practitioner expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the local government chairman for her kind gesture to the family and friends of the departed soul. He made this declaration at Lokoja while addressing the press yesterday. He was full of praises for Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu for remembering a former local government staffer and a fellow politician who died suddenly.
He said, “I have the honour and privilege to express the following words to the Executive Chairman of Ogori-Magongo LGA to appreciate her for her kind-hearted spirit and compassion to a fellow woman, who needed a succour at this material time.” According to Mr. Udebu, the appointment came as a surprise to him and other friends of Late Joshua and it is worth emulating and celebrating in the real sense.
The journalist further said, “I as an individual appreciate Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu for wiping away tears from the faces of the immediate family of Late Joshua Amode. He referred to Amode as a jolly friend, brother and confidant who left this world when his services and fatherly counseling are mostly needed by the people around him.
It will be recalled that Late Joshua Amode died less than a week to Local Government election , he died leaving behind his wife, children, relatives and friends.
During his lifetime, Joshua was a great philanthropist and counselor, who always got committed to whatever he was doing, he was very passionate about the work of his community and the church.
Conclusively, Mr Udebu prayed for the chairman of Ogori-Magongo LGA for God’s sustainability, protection, good health and a peaceful tenure in office. He further used the opportunity of the press release to advise the beneficiary, Mrs. Esther Titilayo Amode to reciprocate this kind gesture extended to her and get herself committed to the work assigned to her by the Executive Chairman of Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area.
