The Ata Igala, HRM Mathew Opaluwa Oguche has bestowed and crowned Chief Ali Yakubu FAMOUS as Eju Ata Igala Kingdom Anambra state. Performing the traditional rites on Chief Ali Yakubu FAMOUS, the Ata Igala charged him to have broad heart and be father of all sons and daughters of Igala Kingdom in Anambra state and act as true ambassador of Igala people anywhere he found himself.
HRM Mathew Opaluwa Oguche used the occasion to call on sons and daughters of Igala Kingdom both at home and in diaspora to be upright in whatever they do and in whatever positions they found themselves and to be their brothers keeper. The royal father reminded Igalas to be role model and exemplary while he urged those in positions of authority to engage in positive meaningful ventures for prosperous life worthy of emulation. He called for execution of social welfare programmes that will impact positively on the life of the generality of the people of Igala Kingdom. He called for collaborative effort where all hands are on deck to contribute meaningfully for the overall progress and development of Igala Kingdom. The Ata Igala reiterated his concern for accelerated developmental projects in most settlements in Igala Kingdom with propensity for societal transformation. The new Eju Ata Igala Kingdom Anambra state, Chief Ali Yakubu FAMOUS described his conferment of chieftaincy title as a call to service and promised not to derail in uniting Igala people in Anambra state and beyond. Chief Ali Yakubu FAMOUS then appealed to well meaning Igalas to offer constructive advise and suggestions that could move the Igala kingdom forward in the comity of nation states in Nigeria. The Eju Ata Igala Kingdom Anambra state who promised to run open door administration restated his readiness to serve God and humanity conscientiously where he will justify the confidence reposed in him as exemplary servant-leader. He called for working synergy between Igala home base and those in diaspora with workable programmes to better the lots of the people of Igala Kingdom.
