A Year in Heaven: A Tribute to My Brother in Christ, Solomon Boro

Spread the love

Today marks one year since you left this earthly life and entered into the glorious presence of our Lord. Though our hearts still ache and some of us struggle to accept that you’re no longer here, we find comfort in knowing you are where you always believed—safe in the arms of Jesus.

You were more than a friend; you were a brother—a man of faith, love, and unwavering strength. Your life was a testament to God’s grace, touching countless souls through your kindness, wisdom, and generosity. As a devoted Christian, you walked in faith, leading by example. As a father and grandfather, you poured love into your family, leaving a legacy that will never fade.

This past year has been filled with so many moments where we’ve deeply missed your laughter, and your wise counsel. We’ve also missed sharing our passion for football—especially our heated debates and hopeful (or frustrated) discussions about Arsenal’s performances. Yet, in the silence, we still feel your impact. Stories of your faithfulness continue to inspire us, and the seeds you planted in so many lives are still bearing fruit.

We miss you deeply, but we do not grieve as those without hope (1 Thessalonians 4:13). Heaven gained a saint, and one day, we will join you in that eternal reunion. Until then, we honor your memory by living with the same love, faith, and passion you demonstrated every day.

Rest well, my brother. Your race was run with excellence, and your crown awaits.

*”Well done, good and faithful servant.”* — **Matthew 25:23**

With love and remembrance,
