
The ancient town of Idah was thrown into jubilation and when Mrs. Gift Emmanuel Agbas gave out food items and monetary donation to Idah people as palliative. Mrs. Gift Agbas who carried out the humanitarian services under the aegis of Promise Land, Abuja, maintained her concern to impact positively on the life of the people at the grassroots. She stated that the palliative was her own contribution to give to the people and society her God given wealth. Mrs. Gift Agbas who is the Director of Promise Land Abuja, advised the beneficiaries to use the goods and money for the purpose intended without diversion to maintain and sustain food security in many families for the accelerated peace and progress of Idah area. She reminded the beneficiaries to engage in meaningful ventures that will sustain them to contribute their quota to societal progress and development. Mrs. Gift Agbas assured the people of Idah area that she will continue in her own way to impact positively on them and Idah community as a whole while reminding them to be vanguard of peace that is panacea for the progress and development of any area. The company Director restated her commitment to continuously liaise with the people at home in entrepreneurial skills acquisition and development for jobs self reliance for them to compete favourably in socio-economic development of Idah area and Igalaland in general. Mrs. Gift Agbas gave thanks to God for enabling her realize her dream to bring back to the people and society her God given wealth. The occasion which was attended by the staff of Promise Land Abuja, Traditional rulers, community and opinion leaders, market women witnessed the distribution of food items such as bags of rice, ground nut oil, bags of salt and disbursement of monetary empowerment worth millions of naira to some women.
