DEPUTY SPEAKER RT. HON. COMFORT EGWABA PRESIDES OVER KOGI ASSEMBLY PLENARY SESSION
The Kogi State House of Assembly today, October 22, 2025, held a plenary session presided over by the Honorable Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba. The session marked key legislative progress on two critical issues impacting the state: road development and public fiscal management.
The House prioritized infrastructure by considering and unanimously adopting a motion sponsored by Hon. Idrees Aliyu Maikudi (Kogi/Koton-Karfi Const.).
The motion specifically urged the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing to fast-track the completion of the vital Lokoja-Koton Karfi to Abuja road construction project. The Assembly emphasized that the timely completion of this road is essential for economic growth, security, and the safe movement of citizens.
