Hon. Idris King extends boreholes rehabilitation projects to Oshobane wards in Ogori-Magongo LGA

The Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. AbdulAzeez Idris King has extended his boreholes rehabilitation projects to Oshobane Ward in Ogori-Magongo local government area of Kogi state.

The ongoing Renew Hope Boreholes Rehabilitation is an initiative of Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King aimed at making portable water available to the people at rural communities.

 

One of the resident of Oshobane ward Mr Peter Owolabi who spoke on the project , said the borehole has remained moribund for many years.

He praised Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King for taking a bold steps in rehabilitating the borehole, noting that when completed it will end the daily scarcity of water in the ward.

He appealed to the former House of Representative to extend the project to other wards in Ogori-Magongo local government to enable more people benefit from the laudable Renew Hope Boreholes Rehabilitation Project.

Another resident a women who identified herself as Madam Josephine Andrew commended Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King for rehabilitating the only public source of water in the ward.

She thank him for considering Oshobane ward to be part of the wards that will benefit from the water project.

“In fact I don’t really know how to thank this Honourable man called Abdulazeez Idris King for this kind gesture extended to us in Oshobane ward especially now that we are entering dry season. May God Almighty bless him for this humility at a time we are thinking where can we get water to drink and for domestic needs” she stated.
