The People of Kogi State have been asked to remain supportive of the People’s Democratic Party towards ensuring that only people centric leaders and representatives emerge in 2027.
This is as the Kogi State Chairman of the PDP disclosed that only leaders and representatives in the mould of Sen. Natasha Akpoti Udaughan, representing Kogi Central Senatorial District should be allowed to emerge.
The Kogi State Chairman of the PDP, Hon. Muhammad Sanni Gambo, made the disclosure while addressing a Press Conference at the Kogi State NUJ, said his emergence as Chairman signifies a return to the days of the PDP when Nigerians lived life 🧬 with dignity and in Prosperity.
The Chairman charged Nigerians to have faith in the PDP, pointing out that the Party may be going through a phase, it still remains the darling of Nigerians and Kogites.
” Under the PDP administration, we built all the infrastructure Nigerian’s are enjoying today. The development in Nigeria stalled after the PDP administration.
” Today, Nigerian’s can tell the difference in security, education and there total well being.
” In Kogi State, the story is made simpler. We all can attest to the fact that all housing schemes and other infrastructure we can see today are the efforts of the PDP”.
” Let me announce to the people of Kogi State, that the PDP is back and better. We will field candidates in all positions in 2027. We will win and provide the kind of people centered leadership Sen. Natasha Akpoti is giving to the people of Central Senatorial District”.
The Kogi PDP Chairman paid glowing tribute to Sen. Natasha, explained that her kinds are rare to come by, assured that in 2027, the PDP will produce more of her kinds, to ensure that democracy dividends is felt by the people.
Hon. Muhammad described his victory at the Court as a collective victory for the PDP in the State, called on aggrieved members to return to the fold, insisting that PDP remains the Party for Nigerians and Kogites in particular.
Hon. Gambo disclosed that the party is going to set up reconciliation and mobilization drive committee as soon as possible, described the State as a PDP State anytime, anyday.
As part of measures to reinvigorate the Party in the State, the Chairman assured of regular meeting across Wards, Local Government Areas and the State, pointing out that regular stakeholders meeting and engagement with stakeholders and members would be a priority.
He extended his hands of fellowship to all co contestants in the last State Congress, said the outcome of the court ruling was a no victor, no vanquish ruling.
