

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, participated in a critical stakeholders’ meeting on the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) nationwide e-registration exercise, held at the Glass House in Lokoja.
The meeting brought together key party leaders and stakeholders to deliberate on strategies for the effective implementation of the electronic registration process across Kogi State. The initiative is aimed at strengthening party structures, updating the membership database, deepening internal democracy, and ensuring wider participation of members in party activities and future general elections.
Speaking at the meeting, Rt. Hon. Egwaba emphasized the importance of embracing digital innovation in party administration, noting that the e-registration exercise will enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency within the party. She urged party leaders at all levels to mobilize members, particularly at the grassroots, to ensure full participation and ownership of the process.
She commended the APC leadership for the initiative and reaffirmed her unwavering support for programmes that promote unity, inclusiveness, discipline, and sustainable growth of the party in Kogi State and across Nigeria, as part of broader efforts to reposition the party ahead of future electoral engagements.
