PROVOST CHARGES INFORMATION OFFICERS TO REDOUBLE THEIR EFFORTS .

The Provost of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale has charged staff of the directorate of information and public relations to redouble their efforts for the overall development of the College. He made the call when staff of the directorate paid him a congratulatory visit on his well deserved appointment and the milestone of achievements recorded within his 100days in office.

During the visit the Director of the directorate Alhaji Jibril Abdulrahaman presented a beautifully designed portrait of the Provost to him on behalf of members of the directorate.

The Director in his presentation drew the attention of the Provost to the statutory functions of the directorate, as according to him it has been observed that some units are meddling into the roles of the directorate. He stated therefore that the directorate is ready to take full control of its responsibilities.

In addition, the Provost’s attention was drawn to some major challenges hindering the activities of the directorate to optimally discharge its responsibilities.They include; lack of alternative power supply, unavailability of laptops, Digital cameras, Projector, office equipments, among others .

While responsiding ,the Provost promised to attend to the challenges and also provides a conducive working environment for staff of the directorate.

He also disclosed some of his agenda for the entire College, among which are, the reconstruction of the College main gate, the perimeter fence, the Installation of CCTV cameras , the conversion of some College buses to CNG and incentives for all staff of the College.

The Provost charged the directorate to deploy the usage of other social media platforms for the dissemination of information to the wider public .
