Hon. Idris King sanks motorize borehole in Okene as residents pour encomiums on him
The Federal Commissioner representing Kogi State at the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), Hon. AbdulAzeez Idris King has sank a motorized borehole for residents of Okene local government area of Kogi State.
The borehole was part of the on going Renewed Hope Water System Project and Drilling of Boreholes in Okene initiated by Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King, the Renewed Hope Ambassador and Coordinator Kogi State.
One of the resident of Okene Mallam Musa Sadiq who speaks on the project, described the motorized borehole as the best gift of the 2026 coming from a former legislator to his people.
“We are happy to see the drilling of borehole at this period where the perennial scarcity of water is biting harder.
“This is an industrial borehole that will serve the people of Okene and it’s adjoining communities. We pray to Allah to give Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King long life and prosperity and we also asked God to give him the financial strength to do more for his people.
“He has tried and we want other appointees in the state to emulate his spirit of giving to his people. Hon. Abdulazeez Idris King is a true leader and he has been demonstrating that since he ventured into politics. We thank him for giving back to his people” he said.
Also pouring words of praises, an elderly women who identified herself as Hajia Fatima Momohjimoh commended Hon Abdulazeez Idris King for providing a motorized borehole for Okene residents.
She thank him for considering Okene to be part of the town that will benefit from the going Renewed Hope Water system project and drilling of boreholes.
