Eid-el-Fitr 2026: Kogi Assembly Clerk Calls For Unity, Reaffirms Commitment to Staff Welfare

The Clerk of Kogi State House of Assembly and Head of Legislative Service, Ahmed Suleiman Chogudo, has extended warm greetings to Muslims in Kogi State and the entire legislative staff on the occasion of the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr celebration, urging them to uphold the values of sacrifice, discipline, and unity imbibed during Ramadan.

The Clerk in his Eid message, described the end of Ramadan as a moment of gratitude and spiritual renewal, calling on the faithful to sustain the virtues of patience, compassion, and selflessness beyond the holy month.

In a press statement signed by the Deputy Clerk Administration and General Service, Aka Adebayo Michael and made available to newsmen ,he emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among citizens.

The Clerk commended legislative staff for their dedication and commitment to duty, noting that their contributions remain vital to the effective functioning of the Assembly.

He encouraged them to remain diligent, professional, and focused on delivering quality legislative support services to the people of the state.

Chogudo also reassured staff of his continued commitment to their welfare, stressing that the Legislative Service will keep prioritizing capacity building, improved working conditions, and initiatives that promote efficiency and productivity within the Assembly.

While commending Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare and inclusive governance, Chogudo urged residents of the state to remain law-abiding and supportive of government efforts aimed at sustaining peace and development.

The Clerk who noted that unity and collective responsibility are essentials for building a stronger and more prosperous Kogi State, prayed for a peaceful Eid celebration and a future filled with progress and prosperity for the people of the State.
