

DG Energy Commission Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Fitr, urges Sustenance of Virtues Beyond Fasting Period
The Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), Dr. Mustapha Abdullah, has warmly felicitates with the Muslim Ummah across Kogi State and Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the 2026 Holy Month of Ramadan.
In a sallah message issued on Friday, Dr. Abdullah noted that Ramadan is a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and renewed commitment to the values of compassion, discipline, and generosity.
He urged all Muslims to sustain these virtues beyond the fasting period, as they are essential for building a more peaceful, united, and progressive society.
The Director General further calls on Nigerians to use the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr to pray for continued peace, stability, and prosperity of the nation.
He emphasizes the importance of unity across religious and ethnic lines, noting that collective harmony remains vital to national development.
