Rt. Hon. Rosemary Ohiezu, the Executive Chairman of Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area, has extended heart-warm felicitation to Muslims in Ogori-Magongo home and abroad as they celebrate Eid-Al-Fitr.
The Chairman urged the Islamic faithful to emulate the virtues of prophet Mohammed (S.A.W.) by embracing the spirit of peace, love, which the Holy Prophet exemplified.
She at the same time called on the citizen to continue promoting peaceful co-existence and to show true love and compassion to one and another, regardless of of religious or ethnic differences.
Rt. Hon Rosemary, equally appealed to Muslims and residents to continue praying for the peace, unity, and progress of the state and the nation.
The Executive Chairman assured Muslims of a peaceful celebration in the area, noting that the government is working closely with security agencies to ensure the safety and harmony of all during and after the Eid-Al-Fitr celebration.
On behalf of the government and people of Ogori-Magongo Local Government council, she congratulated the Muslims brothers and sisters in the area on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Al-Fitr, praying God to accept our fasts and prayers offered.
