Today, being the 11th day of April, 2026, the Council Leader of Ibaji Local Government, Honorable Christy, alongside the ten Ward Councillors across the Local Government Area, convened a sitting in Onyedega, the headquarters of Ibaji Local Government.
During the session, the Council unanimously endorsed the Rt. Honorable Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, in recognition of her outstanding performance and impactful contributions to the development of Ibaji Local Government.
The endorsement motion was formally moved by the Majority Leader, Honorable Ocheja Benald, and duly seconded by the Deputy Leader, Honorable Gabriel Ugbena, Councillor representing the good people of Ayah Ward. The motion also received strong support from Honorable Ruth Ogala, Councillor representing Unale Ward, alongside other councillors present.
The Council commended Rt. Honorable Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba for her dedication to infrastructural development, grassroots empowerment, and the overall welfare of the people of Ibaji. They expressed confidence in her leadership and affirmed their collective support for her continued service.
