Education Provost Opens Doors for Collaboration, Unveils Plans

Determined to reposition the Federal College of Education, Okene, for academic excellence, the institution’s Provost, Dr. Ibrahim Ismaila Mosimabale, has reiterated the college’s open-door policy for partnerships with development-focused organisations and well-meaning individuals.

The Provost gave this assurance during a courtesy visit by the Progressive Ladies of Ogori, a women’s group, at the college premises. He used the opportunity to call on the association to assist in bolstering student enrollment by promoting the diverse academic programmes offered by the institution.

Highlighting his administration’s commitment to access and equity, Dr. Mosimabale announced the existence of a staff-funded scholarship scheme for NCE students and disclosed ongoing engagements with the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to expand financial support for the student body.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the President, Mrs. Mosugu Abigael, commended the Provost’s visionary leadership and pledged the group’s full cooperation in advancing the college’s mission. The delegation also included Vice President Honourable Onoba Jane, Mrs. Wullimat Obaju, Mrs. Anuwe Christiana, Mrs Boro Florence, and Mrs. Omoloju Maulann.
