On behalf of my family, political followers, supporters, and associates, I wish to express my profound gratitude to everyone who made my historic homecoming yesterday, 29th August 2026, a truly memorable occasion.
First and foremost, I sincerely appreciate the Executive Governor of Kogi State and Chief Security Officer of the State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for providing the peaceful and conducive atmosphere that enabled our people to gather in unity, love, and celebration. May Allah continue to grant you wisdom, strength, and guidance in the service of our dear state.
I also extend my deepest appreciation to our Supreme Leader, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the former Governor of Kogi State and, Insha Allah, the next Senator representing Kogi Central. Your Excellency, without your leadership, guidance, encouragement, and belief in me, my story would not have been readable to this point. I remain deeply grateful for your invaluable support and mentorship.
My sincere appreciation also goes to the Kogi State APC Chairman, Hon. Engr. Ezu, for his leadership and support; the Accountant General of Kogi State, Dr. Habiba Aliyu Onumoko, FCNA, for her unwavering encouragement, wise counsel, and support throughout this journey; Hon. Alhaji Kashim Ahmed Ododo, CNA, and the many other distinguished leaders and stakeholders who continue to stand with me.
I will never forget the executives and stakeholders of my own ward, Obehira-Eba. To our youths, women, elders, party faithful, community leaders, friends, and well-wishers, I say a very big THANK YOU.
To everyone who turned out en masse to grace my homecoming, your presence was more than a show of support, it was a powerful demonstration of love, solidarity, unity, and shared hope for the future of our constituency.
I am particularly humbled by the vibrant reception, the chants, the prayers, the goodwill, and the sacrifices many of you made to be part of that historic moment. You defied all odds to stand with me, and I do not take your support for granted.
The overwhelming show of love and solidarity yesterday is a clear testament to the trust and confidence you have placed in me. It has further strengthened my resolve to remain committed to the people and to the pursuit of purposeful representation, inclusive leadership, and sustainable progress for Okene/Ogori-Magongo Federal Constituency.
As we move forward together, I appeal to everyone to remain united, peaceful, respectful, and committed to the collective interest of our people. Our journey is bigger than any individual; it is about building a better future for our constituency and ensuring that every community has a voice.
Once again, to our leaders, stakeholders, party faithful, youths, women, elders, friends, supporters, political associates, and every individual who contributed in one way or another to the success of my homecoming.
