The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Member Representing Ibaji State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, attended the official launch of the Uyo Joy Lifeline Foundation and the public presentation of two books authored by Dr. Joy Uyo Ata-Agboni.
The event, held at the College of Health Sciences Auditorium, Federal University Lokoja, was centred on the theme, “Building Hope, Saving Lives, and Empowering Communities Through Health Education and Humanitarian Service.”
The programme featured the presentation of two publications: Public Administration in Nigeria: A Comprehensive Textbook for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Professional Studies and God’s Faithfulness: The Inspiring Journey of a Sickle Cell Warrior. It also featured keynote remarks, book reviews and the presentation of pioneer partner awards.
In her remarks, the Deputy Speaker commended Dr. Joy Uyo Ata-Agboni for her commitment to humanitarian service, health advocacy and academic development. She noted the importance of initiatives that promote health education, support sickle cell warriors and contribute to the development of communities.
Rt. Hon. Egwaba also congratulated Dr. Joy Uyo Ata-Agboni on the launch of the foundation and the successful presentation of the books, wishing her continued strength and impact in her humanitarian and academic endeavours.
