The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Comfort Ojoma Nwuchiola Egwaba, joined the Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo, family members, government functionaries, political leaders, traditional rulers and other distinguished guests to celebrate the wedding of his daughter, Miss Dorcas Ojochegbe Joel, to Mr Daniel Kayode Semako.
The celebration began on Thursday, 29th October, 2026, with the traditional marriage ceremony held in Ejule, Ofu Local Government Area, and continued today, Saturday, 31st October, with the church wedding in Lokoja.
The two occasions brought together dignitaries, friends, associates and well-wishers who gathered to share in the joy of the Oyibo family and witness the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of the couple.
The Deputy Speaker congratulated the newlyweds and their families, wishing the couple a lifetime of love, mutual understanding, peace and happiness.
