Kogi State House of Assembly member representing Mopamuro State Constituency, Hon. Sam Olawumi Jacob expresses his deepest sympathy over the devastating news of the death of HRH Oba Isaac Abayomi Ogunkolu the Danayangun of Okeagi kingdom which is his paternal home.
In his statement while passing condolence message on phone to one of the community leaders, Hon. Olawumi describe the decease as a man of high integrity and full of fatherly attention.
I know the community, family and relatives are heartbroken but I must confess I am more heartbroken because HRH did not witness in full the glory of our community which the Lord has started to unveil but I believe he shall one day look back and glorify God that the new dawn of Okeagi kingdom started during his reign, the Hon. added.
Oba Abayomi was loved and will be greatly missed by everyone in the community and his memory will not leave our hearts in a jiffy.
I pray your soul will find eternal rest in the bossom of our creator.
