The caretaker chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Rasheed Bashir Okatengwu in a quest to unify the political parties in Adavi LG pays a courtesy visit to 2-time House of Representative Member, former chairman of Adavi LG, and the Leader of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasiu for the main purpose of bridging the gap between the two main parties in the LG so to achieve a developmental goal.
Hon. Bashir Okatengwu was accompanied by the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman at the LG, Hon. Barnabas Oyibo and other members of his entourage.
Hon. Barnabas gave an opening remark after which the chairman appreciated Hon. Badamasiu for always making himself available when needed. He further appealed for his support as well as that of the main opposition party in order to bring development into Adavi noting that, when there’s unity and love, peace and progress will certainly fall in place.
Hon. Badamasi in his remarks appreciated the Caretaker Chairman for a good start, encouraged him to continue on the right track and promise to always support him whenever the need arise.
“I know you want to succeed but you must put this things into practice, the fear of God, Loyalty to your benefactor(s) and love of the masses, when you have these, you will succeed”, Hon. Badamasiu cautioned.
