The caretaker chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Rasheed Bashir Okatengwu inspects departments and personnel at the local government secretariat.
The Head, Department of Personnel Management (DPM) accompanied the chairman and led the inspection to tour around the council.
Department inspected are: Department of Personnel Management, NIMC, Works Treasury, Information, Education, Agriculture, Planning, Citizenship, Health, Security, Secretary and others.
Hon. Rasheed Bashir Okatengwu engaged officers in charge and listened to their challenges, sorted out the ones within his powers and wrote down the rest to act upon with immediate effect.
He further cautioned the staff and urge them to take their responsibilities very seriously as he will not condone any form of unseriousness. “We cannot be unserious in our work place and expect God to bless the earnings, we are here to serve the masses, therefore, we should do what is expected of us”, the chairman remarked.
