Ahead of inauguration of members of the Caretaker Committee, Hon. Ademola Bello Destiny in an interactive meeting with the leaders and stakeholders of the party (APC) to strategies and redefine the activities of the party.
Addressing the stakeholders, the Caretaker Chairman pointed out details of his areas of concentration which are basically on SECURITY of lives and peoperties of Mopamuropeople, unity within the party, bringing back aggrieved members, improve the IGR of the Local Government through restructuring the terms and conditions previously given to respective consultants and rejig the revenue department of the Local Government.
In his word, “I want to emphatically inform us that my appointment as the Transition Chairman of Mopamuro LGA will be on how to improve on and or reposition the existing statusquo of event so as to make life better for Mopamuro constituents and if we must do it right at this material time, we must look inward deeply in the areas of IGR even beyond the existing ones”. However, if we must succeed, the remittance system must reflect a holistic approach which entails proper documentation in line with the rules and regulations of the Local Government Administration, the Chairman continues.
He makes bold to say that he will not take a dime by cash from any consultant which of course often has a negative effect on the remittance expectation thereby affecting the overall target of his primary assignments but rather all it must as a matter of fact follows due procedures into the appropriate Local Government accounts.
Amongst the contributions from the attendees, the LGA party Chairman, Hon Omoyele Charles appreciates the Chairman for his proactive steps in making up the meeting which is one of its kinds, noting that if he continues this way, succeeding becomes a walk over for him because when a leader makes consultation a habit, he gathers ideas and experiences that will guide him in policies formulation and execution.
In addition, Hon. Destiny harps on politics of all inclusiveness and gender propagation which he started by appointing Three additional official aids to be paid from his personal purse in order to capture the remaining wards that were not featured in the Transition’s Committee and statutory kitchen cabinet stressing that equity, justice and fairness is his watch word. Also, effort is in the pipeline to capture more women in the on going cabinet structure.
Assuredly, the Chairman reiterates his open door system of administration to all the stakeholders and emphasising maximum cooperation during his tenure.
