There was a sigh of relief and jubilation from Mopamuro Local Government staff today as they resume office to witness not only the availability of motorised water within the office premises but also dazed with the presence of power supply which will make office more conducive to carry out their daily official activities.
Upon resumption in the office, Hon. Destiny took note of some basic necessities that needed urgent attention in the serecretariat among which are water and electricity supply.
According to the Chairman, to achieve part of his core mandates, the narrative of essential amenities which had plagued the secretariat for almost a decade must be urgently attended to and today, the staff have given him a standing ovation for a job well done!
While in a brief meeting with his Committee members, Hon. Destiny expressed his readiness to give the secretariat a new look especially in the area of social amenities.
According to him, “what we need is the political will and I have it. We might not have enough resources on ground to fix everything at once but when the will power is there there must be ways to actualize results”.
In an interactive moment with one of the staff of the Local Government who does not want her name in print by the media representative, she was extremely elated with the new development which she described as big relief to them because these social amenities are the two major essential variables for life; indeed, the Chairman is out for business!
In continuation of encomium on the Chairman, the staff appreciated him for his proactiveness and prayed for more enablement for him to do more.
