Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency Political Office Holders Visit Tolulope Arotile’s Family, Mourns the Late Combat Fighter

Kogi State Political Office Holders in Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency have consoled with the family of Late Flight Officer Tolulope Arotile who died in an accident on Tuesday.

The Political Office Holders made the remark during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Lokoja.

Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the member representing Ijumu constituency in the State House of Assembly, Mr. Olusola Kilani Olumo described her death as a great loss and unfortunate.

He said “this loss is for everyone as Kogi and indeed Nigeria has lost a good ambassador and a fighter at a time that the Country is battling with Insecurity”.

The Lawmaker extoled the contributions of the deceased Combat Flying Officer to the Nation’s drive to defeat insurgency, saying her demise has created vacuum too difficult to fill.

Mr. Kilani Olumo sympathized with the Arotile Family, people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Kogi State and Nigeria over the irreparable loss and prayed God to grant them the strength to bear the grief.

The Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Wemi Jones who led prayer for the family, said death is the necessary end of all mortals as no one can question God for his deeds.

Mr. Jones prayed God to grant the entire Nigeria Air Force, the Arotile family and the country in General the fortitude to bear the loss.

Speaking earlier, the State Security Adviser, Commander Jerry Omodara (Retired) said the death of Tolulope Arotile though devastating, is a colossal loss to the State and the Nation.

Commander Omodara stated that only God gives and takes life and urged her family to take solace in the fact that she lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation.

Responding, the Father of the deceased, Mr. Akin Arotile thanked the delegation for identifying with them in their moment of grief.
