Kogi SUBEB TO ESTABLISH SMART SCHOOLS
The kogi state universal basic education board, SUBEB, says it will establish smart schools next year.
The executive chairman of the board, Ndalayi Sulaiman disclosed this while defending the board’s twenty twenty one proposed budget before the house committee on education, science and technology.
He said that what informed the planned smart schools that would be established was due to the fact that the world was a global village driving by information communication technology, ICT.
The state subeb boss maintained that the board would also increase school enrolment by students next year.
Also, the provost of the college of education ankpa, Doctor Mohammed Jibrin while defending the college budget said the major focus for the institution would be to increase student enrolment, boost its revenue and ensure proper budget performance.
Similarly the vice chancellor of kogi state university, Anyigba, Professor Mariatu Tenuche, said the institution would be investing in capital projects next.
She also said that university would focus on the accreditation of courses by the Nigeria University Commission..
