OKEHI HUNTERS MARKED ONE YEAR REMEMBRANCE OF PA BELLO SADIQ JAGUDA OPOTU IN GRAND STYLE AT OKAITO.
The popular saying that ‘one good turn deserve another as people with worthy lasting legacies outlived them:. This came to play at OKAITO in Okehi LGA on 28th December, 2020 during the remembrance ceremony of Late Pa Bello Sadiq JAGUDA Opotu. The Okehi LGA hunters amid pomp and peagantry entertained guests, visitors and family members of late veteran hunter Pa Bello SadiqJaguda Opotu in grand style. In a chat with the Chairman of Okehi Hunters Union, Mr. Michael Bello said the occasion was to honour one of their fathers who had a good prints on sand of history in hunting and lived a virtous life. He stated that the late Pa Bello Sadiq Jaguda Opotu became a reference point in most of the hunters activities where truth, love and sincerity with trust in God were their guiding principles and watch words.
Okehi Hunters chairman urged his members to be exemplary and be their brothers’keeper in whatever they do for peaceful living where they go about in search of daily livelihood. Mr. Michael Bello reminded the hunters not to do anything that could tarnish or bring the hunters union into disrespect. Speaking, the son of late Pa Bello SadiqJaguda Opotu, Mr. Asuku Bello who is also a member of Okehi Hunters union appreciated the hunters for giving his father a befitting respect and appealed to them to be more united in the profession. He expressed delight and gratitude to the Guests and Traditional Rulers from all walks of life who traveled from far and near to attend, witness and add colour to the occasion. Mr. Asuku Bello used the occasion to remind family members to uphold and sustain their father’s legacies for peaceful living and better society. The remembrance ceremony was marked with varieties of activities including gun salutes, hunters songs and dances where some hunters shot and bullets waded off among other attractions.
