*Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami Holds Security Meeting with Traditional Rulers, Religion Leaders, and Security Agencies.*

The Executive Chairman of Adavi LG, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami held a security meeting with the Security Agencies, Traditional Rulers, Religion Leaders, Ward Heads, Stakeholders, Artisans, NYCN Adavi LG Chapter, Drivers & Okada Riders Unions, Traders, Community Leaders in Adavi LGA.

Members of the Executive Chairman’s cabinet at the meeting include; Council Legislative Members, Supervising Councilors, Special Advisers, and a host of others.

The Executive Chairman while addressing the dignitaries, thanked God Almighty for making it possible to converge after Christmas Celebration and wished everyone a prosperous New Year in Advance. Hon. Joseph Omuya restated that his administration will not for once take for joke whatever has to do with the peace of Adavi land.

In his words; “it was part of my campaign promises to take security issues seriously because, it is one of those things I have learned from my leader, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, and as such, my administration shall continue to prioritize security. We will not give room for any form of social vices and my administration will complement the efforts of various communities in Adavi”, He added.

He further appealed to the community leaders never to relent their efforts, as he urged them to join hands with Security Agencies to sustain peace in Adavi, the Administration under the leadership of his Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello acknowledged the efforts of every community leader across Kogi State which he as the Executive Chairman of Adavi LG is emulating. “We cannot do this alone without your support, if we all play our roles and play it well, nobody will dare to perpetrate crime in our land”, he concluded.

The security agencies on their own part assured Hon. Joseph Omuya and the people of Adavi to provide effective security and appealed that criminal elements in every community should be exposed for the law to take its course and serve as a deterrent to others.

The community leaders who spoke in separate remarks, expressed their readiness to support the present administration under the leadership of Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami. They affirmed that with the manner of leadership of Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami, Adavi would serve as a role model to every other LGA in Kogi State.
