
*Executive Chairman of Adavi Handover Keys to Public Toilets to Community Leaders, Urges them to keep Facilities Clean, and Conducive for the Community.*
The Executive Chairman of Adavi, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami was accompanied by his political cabinet as he officially hands over the latrines built by the Federal Ministries of Water Resources for two communities in Adavi LGA.
The Toilets Project was built close to public schools at Inoziomi and Adavi-Eba Community in Adavi LGA.
While commending the efforts of the Federal Government for the basic Project, Hon. Joseph Omuya urged the community leaders to maintain, clean, give free access to the facilities, and encourage the citizenry of the community who doesn’t have a personal toilet in their various homes to be making use of the latrines and stop open defecation either in the nearby uncompleted buildings and environment.
Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami also commended the communities and acknowledged the fact that the communities are known for handling governmental project carefully, “Inoziomi and Adavi-eba communities are well known for taking care of government projects, I urge you to continue with what you are known for”, he added.
The Community chairmen who spoke in separate remarks, pledged to protect, keep, clean, and put it in use judiciously.
Conclusively, Hon. Joseph Omuya pledged to build more across Adavi communities to complement the Federal and state government efforts in the campaign against open defecation across the country.
