The doctorate honours award conferred on Mr. Emmanuel Ojo Ahmed JP by Africa Educational Network (a global university) in Freeport, New York, United States of America (USA) has been described as well deserved.
Presenting the award and certificate of Doctor of Divinity (DD) to Mr. Emmanuel Ojo Ahmed at the FCE Auditorium Okene on 8th June, 2024, Right Primate Professor Noah Raimi Yakubu charged the recipient to double his efforts in his humanitarian services and to be peace ambassador in his religious and professional callings. He called for unity of purpose among the Christians wherever they found themselves to symbolize role models and be epitome of love, honesty and trust worthy of emulation. Prof. Noah Raimi Yakubu maintained that the institution will continue to be centre of learning, excellence and peace advocate in its global activities and urged the recipients to be shining stars in their family, private and public life. .in appreciation of the award, (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed JP praised the institution for recognising the little ways he has impacted on the people and society. IN his citation, looking at the antecedents of his awardee, it is right thing to have happened in the recognition and promotion of humanity in this turbulent planet earth where self egoism and aggrandizement pervade the life space of individuals but (Dr ) ,Emmanuel Ahmed is a man out of this world in his private and public life. Born 28th ,September, 1965 into the family of Mr. Ahmed Ovanimoh and Mrs. Adisa Ahmed, the then young Ojo started his educational pursuit when he was enrolled at Saint Andrews Primary School Isinbode-Ekiti from 1972-1978 and later obtained Senior School Certificate from Okene Secondary School. IN his quest for self reliant and entrepreneur per excellence, (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed enrolled as an apprenticeship in printing under the leadership of late Chief Ade-Otu and Sons Printing Press. Okene from 1983,-1988). This focused and promising entrepreneur on graduation. set up Victory printing Press and registered as enterprise in 1990. Determined to carve inch for himself, (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed made his business outfit a limited company with the name of Victory Printing and Publishing Company since 1992 as the Chief Executive Officer. He has impacted positively on many people through entrepreneurship in his profession where he has trained and graduated over Fifty (50) apprentices in printing and Publishing who are today are on their own making good mark and promotion of the profession in Nigeria. As a man on threshold of history, (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed sees as sacred duty where he has served humanity and society that propelled him for recognition for this award which is believed will spur him to continue his God sent philanthropic, religious and community services for the betterment and transformation of mankind and society. (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed JP is a devout Christian and his activities in Christendom for better religious harmony among different sects in Christianity are acknowledged within, far and near. He became a Layreader in Anglican Communion since 2003 And also Bishop Nominee of Anglican Church in Nagazi Archedchry. IN his profession as a printer and Publisher, the recipient remains a household name among his peers within and outside kogi state. His professional expertise has earned him the following positions where he preformed excellently well that are still reference point today. He became Chairman, Master Printers Association of Nigeria, Adavi LGA chapter(2010-2012). He later served as the Chairman of Association in kogi central (2012-2015). He is currently the Secretary, Association of Professional Printers of Nigeria of Kogi state. This man of destiny is a grassroot mobilizer and youth advocate inclusion in community services. He is presently the Chairman of Enyinomo Ovakere Community Development Association, Nagazi-Uvete, Adavi LGA that is an affiliate of Adavi Joint Community Development Association. From the above footprints as an achiever with unblemished reputation that has written his name in gold in spite undulating terrain of life, it is not exaggeration that (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed JP started life from scratch and he was given a place to stand in his professional calling where he has professionally excelled and built bridges that endear him to most people that interacted with him or watching the scene of his life style. If many people can imitate (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed transformational ways of life, we can rightly say that the Beautiful Ones are now Born as he has become the servant of the people in his desire and religious conviction to serve God and humanity. He is happily married with children and his family is exemplary. If it is the will of God, God in His infinite mercy will continue to elevate (Dr.) Emmanuel Ahmed JP to higher heights with more recognition and merit awards to continue with his God given talent, community mobilization as a pacesetter and religious peace ambassador. He deserves more encomium and accolades in his transformational services to better the lots of the people and society. More power to your elbow.
