*Senator Oseni marks birthday amidst staff commendations*
The Senator representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, Senator Yakubu Oseni has been described as a thorough bred parliamentarian whose philosophy of life is anchored on love, largeheartedness and service to humanity.
Chief of Staff to the lawmaker, *Alhaji Bello Aliyu* made this known today in a goodwill message to his boss whose birthday is today — 15 May, 2021.
Alhaji Aliyu who noted that he was particularly awed with the resilience with which Senator Oseni had conquered some challenges of life said he was never deterred in his resolve to be a source of joy to the less privileged in his constituency and beyond.
“Being close to Senator Yakubu Oseni over the years has broadened my worldview about things of life. Ever since I knew him, he has never been in a fierce competition against anyone for something because his belief is that, if Allah has ordained you to be something, it will come effortlessly.
“That is why we find it very easy to work with him because he will be the last person to suppress or oppress anyone with position or any wordly possession. As he marks his birthday today, I pray that Almighty Allah will continue to enrich him with more wisdom and sound health”, he prayed.
The Personal Assistant to the lawmaker, *Mall. Yusuf Abdulmumin* had on a similar note described his Principal in the most glowing manner.
Mall. Abdulmumin who noted that Kogi Central Senatorial District is having its best in terms of representation revealed that his boss is always preoccupied with how best to engage other stakeholders in the Red Chambers for the benefits of his constituency.
“We all know that he is very affable, accommodating and passionate about his people. Senator Oseni has ever been a man of the masses even before he actively joined politics. Since then, he did not allow the glamour of the office to detach him from the grassroots. He promised that he will never allow his constituency to be shortchanged and he is daily working that whatever is due to them is given at the appropriate time.
“His good deeds at the National Assembly is just like irrepressible seeds that must germinate and we are glad that the people of Kogi Central Senatorial District can testify to this”, he remarked.
Mall. Abdulmumin consequently noted that Senator Yakubu Oseni’s birthday is not the usual marking of years but a celebration of a man whose life stories have been dotted with humanitarian services and national development.
Senator Oseni is a legislator with large heart and that has been adduced as the reason why many stakeholders, acquaintances, colleagues and professional organization chose to celebrate him on his birthday.
