Degree Awarding Programmes: Kogi State College of Education Technical Partners Federal University of Lokoja
The Management of Kogi State College of Education (Technical), Kabba has accepted the establishment of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) study centre in the College to run both Professional and Academic Programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
This acceptance follows the approval of the establishment of the study centre by the Management of Federal University Lokoja.
In a letter signed by the Vice-chancellor of the University Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, a copy which was obtain by DemocracyNewsline, he said “the intent of his aimed is to provide opportunities and greater access for the college staff to the University Academic Programme and to all those who are qualified but cannot enroll at the University’s main Campus in Lokoja due to the distance and many other Salient Factors.”
According to Prof. Akinwunmi, both Lectures and Semester Examinations will be held at College Campus in Kabba under the full administration of the University.
He also stressed that Degree Certificate will also be issued to deserving students at the completion of their programmes by the University Management and Senate as and when due.
It will be recalled that the Provost, Jagboro Olusola Victoria had visited the Vice Chancellor and his Management team some time ago to seek for institution partnership in all areas.
