GOV BELLO PLAYS HOST TO A CROSS-SECTION OF ADAVI-EBA, RESTATES COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE-ORIENTED POLICIES
Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello has reassured the people of the State of his New Direction Blueprint committed to bringing quality governance to them whilst improving their quality of life, irrespective of their location on the Kogi State geography.
He spoke through his Deputy, Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja on Wednesday when he received in audience, a cross-section representing the people Adavi-Eba in Adavi LGA of the State who paid him a Thank You Visit for the swift completion of the Electrification of over 10 communities in the LGA.
Chief Onoja, describing his boss, as one who was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, said Governor Bello however relates squarely with the plights of the people, hence, is obsessed with equating his Leadership of the State with mostly people-based policies.
He disclosed that the Electrification Project, for one, is a partial fulfillment of the Governor’s campaign promises to the people as he is even poised to Do More in other regards.
The people who expressed palpable joy took turns to appreciate Governor Bello whom they collectively described as one sent by God Himself to lighten up their lives through the Project, adding that it was salient proof that He answers the prayers of His people.
