Tazan Foundation Donates Generator To Police, Congratulates Former Kogi CP on Promotion

An NGO, the Tazan Foundation, has congratulated the outgoing Kogi State Commissioner of Police, Ayuba Ede, for his promotion to the position of Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police.

The Founder of the Foundation, Tazan Saahibfatiu Onimisi, gave the commendation when the Foundation paid a congratulatory visit to the CP on Friday in Lokoja to felicitate with him on his new position.

Tazan, who doubles as the Director of Foreign Affairs and Integration, United Arab Emirate of National Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN) in Diaspora, said the foundation recognised the CP’s contributions towards the fight against crime, service of touching lives and encouraging good works during his tenure in Kogi State.

He further lauded the efforts of the newly promoted AIG of Police for his fairness in carrying out his duties.

According to him, since the arrival of the CP in the state, the citizens have grown more confidence in reaching out to the police; especially youths who he noted now have the trust to relate well with them.

While wishing him well in his new appointment as AIG of Police, Tazan urged the citizens of the state to keep maintaining law and order, and called on well to do individuals and groups to help in the fight against poverty in the state.

The Tazan Foundation also donated power generating set to the Police to help the security sector with alternative power supply in combating cybercrime and being able to work effectively.

Reacting, the newly promoted AIG Ayuba, while thanking the foundation for the recognition, support and gift from the group, stressed that the police remained one of the friendly security agencies in the world.

Ayuba commended Tazan Foundation for his humanitarian services to mankind.

He thanked the State Government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello, for the enabling environment given to him and other security agencies in the state.

The new AIG enjoined the good citizens of the state to keep maintaining peace and order as being preached by the governor.
