The fourth convocation ceremony and award of honours to deserving students, eminent personalities and corporate organizations that have distinctively distinguished themselves in character, academics and in social responsibilities from a world -class institution, the Author of Life Institute of Theology,
Lokoja, comes up this Saturday, the 22nd March, 2025 , at Emmanuel Baptist Church premises along Agbaja Road Felele, Lokoja by 10.00 am.
According to a press release by the Provost of the institution, Rev’d Dr. S.O. Ibimode, the event will feature convocation speech to be delivered by Dr. M.K. Ibitoye, a renowned academician of repute with the theme, ” The Global Challenges of Responsible Christianity in the 21st Century”, under the chairmanship of Bishop Ted Bako. Several guests and men of God are billed to be in attendance including the Visitor to the Institute, Rt. Hon. Joseph Leke Abejide, a member of the National Assembly, Abuja, while others include: SP/AP (Dr.) Adebayo Olaniyan (CAN State Chairman), Rev’d (Dr.) Joshua Omada (PFN State Chairman), Pastor (Dr.) Henry Asarapo and Bishop Gen. Sam Keddy.
According to the rector, six persons are to be awarded doctorate degrees, while a number of individuals have been lined up to receive other awards such as Christ Ambassador Award, Global Pillar of Faith Award. Three prominent organisations namely: Treasure Bakery, GT Plaza and Johan’s Musical Int’l are to be awarded Corporate Integrity Awards at the occasion.
