Kabba/Bunu PDP Congress – a fairy tale
A former frontline State Assembly candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Mr Samuel Akinwale the CEO of Johnny’s event Centre and hotels kabba has said that the just concluded PDP primaries in kabba/Bunu was a bunch of fairy tale.
Akinwale who made this known in an interview at his Kabba residence on Wednesday noted that the People’s Democratic Party has never been ready to either take the Centre nor take over kogi as a state in the forth coming elections.
“How can a state with the National Publicity Secretary of a party as big as the PDP still be struggling to be recognized as an opposition,“He said.
The Business man stated that he was disappointed with the way the leadership of the party was managing its affairs since the last election.
“Even in Kabba/Bunu where the PDP National Publicity Secretary hails from we still struggle to win few wards in the elections due to greed gross embezzlement of party funds,”
This berates our party and it’s core agenda which is the reason why some of us have decided to stand aloof to watch from the Centre .
A party that has decided to mock itsself by gross impunity and imposition of party executives and leadership can never stand the test of time.
The leadership and party executives are only known to finance their pockets alone thereby forgetting the voters who are at the receiving end during and after elections.
“I will strongly advise the party hierarchy to build bridges and harmonize its home front rather than sit in the comfort of their homes in abuja and lokoja and think elections are already won.
“The party at all.levels needs more inclusiveness, devoid of divisiveness that can serve as a clog in the wheel of our success in the forthcoming election.
“The earlier the party leadership understands this a d work in that light, the better for us” he concluded
