In a terse statement released indicated that she died when she returned back from a church service on Wednesday in Kabba. During her life time, she was a devoted christian and humanitarian. She is survived by her husband, Pa Benjamin Olayemi, a politician and community leader in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, chilldren and grand children.
“Mama was a quintessential wife and mother. She will be greatly missed but we are comforted by her rich legacy of honesty, hard work, love for God and love for humanity.”
Olayemi added that burial arrangements would be disclosed in due course
