Hon. Ishaya Omotayo Adeleye has embarked on palliative measures to make the federal road that connect Ikoyi and other communities motorable.
by the high dilapidation of the road that connected parts of Ekiti and Ondo States, the lawmaker procured stones and gravels to fill the ditches on the road.
Speaking on the road , Hon. Adeleye said though the road belong to the federal government but it is Kogi people and other motorists from other states that used the road on daily basis.
He stated that the hardship and stressed the road has created during this year’s raining season has been a source of concern to him.
The lawmaker lamented that cars, Big truck and buses can no longer ply the road as a result it’s dilapidation, calling on the federal government, the management of Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA) to come to the aid of motorists plying the road and Ikoyi community who has been suffering due to the bad nature of the road.
She assured that as a lawmaker he would do his best to ensure that the road users have a relief before a major rehabilitation comes from the federal government.
