Hon. Wemi Jones Extends Condolences to Governor Ododo Over Father’s Death

The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, has extended his deepest condolences to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and his family on the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.

Jones, in his condolence statement on Monday in Lokoja, described the late Alhaji Ododo’s demise as a monumental loss to both the Ododo family and the entire Kogi State.

The commissioner praised the late Alhaji Ododo’s life, saying it was a testament to honor, dignity, and service, leaving behind legacies that will continue to inspire Kogi State citizens.

While acknowledging the pain of losing a loved one, Hon. Jones urged the governor and his family to take solace in the fact that Alhaji Ododo lived a fulfilled life.

“On behalf of myself, family and the entire staff and management of Kogi State Ministry of Education, I pray for Almighty God’s eternal rest for the soul of Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo and for the strength and fortitude of the Ododo family to bear this irreparable loss.

“May Allah’s mercy and peace be upon the late Alhaji Ododo, and for his legacy to live on through the impact he had on Kogi State,” Jones prayed.
