Greenleaf, a servant leader expert, postulated that servant leaders are leaders who make the needs of others their priority and find success and power in the growth of others.

If the above assumption is correct, then Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, the Deputy speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly have won a gold medal as a servant leader. This is because every genuine leader in the corridor of power can be easily identified through the quality of their thought and action.

Rt. Honorable AHMED leadership courage, commitment to the ideal of selfless service and unwavering dedication to the service of the masses in his constituency and the State in general stand him head and shoulder, high above the rest in the corridor of power.

His extra ordinary capacity for caring as well as the ability to deliver that with utmost humility and kindness qualified him for the gold medal award of servant leadership. His tremendous impact in improving the quality of life of orphans, the downtrodden, less privilege, out of school children and care givers speaks volume of his desire to make life comfortable for others. His contribution in the floor of the house have led to legislation of quality bills that enhances growth and development of the state and his constituency especially, as related to youths, disable and women empowerment, quality education, water for all and disaster management in the state.

Among the bill sponsored by Hon Rt. AHMED and already assented by his Excellency Gov. Yahaya Bello includes a bill to establish Kogi state Youth Development Commission, A bill to protect the right of people living with disability & Disability office, A bill to establish Celuke College of Health Science Ojiapa. Others bill sponsor by Rt. Hon Ahmed Ahmed that is at various committee stage are kogi state erosion control commission and many others.

On constituency projects, even as is not part of members mandates to be involves in infrastructures and provision of basics necessities. Rt. Hon. Ahmed have inaugurated several water projects and other infrastructure across his constituency. Some of these constituency projects with verifiable records includes skilling of six hundred unemployed graduate, women and less privilege people in vocational and entrepreneurial venture, inauguration of over 35 water projects for various community through his program operation water for all. Also as part of his constituency outreach, he has embarked on massive building and rehabilitation of schools, health care centre and medical palliative to villages needing health services, award of scholarship to over 60 less privilege children from primary school to university, donation of cash, food items and clothing to countless constituents needing help, donation of books writing material, bags ,payment of common entrance and unity exams fee for pupils through his GO LEARNING INNITITIVE and many more.

It is on account of these dividends of democracy enjoyed by the constituency that the Amalgam of youth leaders from the constituency led by Comrade Omachi Ibrahim Johnson former NAKOSS public relation officer vow to leave no stone unturned until the continuity mandate of the people honorable is achieve.

Based on the aforementioned ground breaking records of success, it is generally opined that Rt. Honorable Ahmed Ahmed have done well and deserve to be promoted to a higher political class for more dividend of democracy for all.
