AJAOKUTA LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL IS TO SPEND OVER TWO BILLION NAIRA IN 2022.
The Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta local government, Hon Prince Mustapha Aliyu Aka’aba has presented a budget estimate of Two billion one hundred and fourteen million seventy thousand and six hundred. naira (#2,114,078,600) to the legislative arm of the council for deliberation, consideration and approval. Tagged budget of consolidation, Hon Mustapha Aka’aba said it has a Recurrent Expenditure of #1,426,780.00 and Capital expenditure of #687,351,821. Presenting the budget at the council hall, Adogo, Hon. Mustapha Aka’aba commended the leadership and members of the legislative council for their unprecedented support and cooperation since assumption of office inspire difficulties. The. Chairman then praised the harmonious working relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms of the council for record performance of year 2021 budget. The council Boss then mentioned some giant strides of his administration to impact positively on the life of Ajaokuta people like on gong construction of local government Secretariat extension, maintenance and sustenance of peace and security, acquisition of tractors and fertilizer as well as purchase and distribution of education materials to schools as well as.
