Infrastructure Development our priority in 2022, Says Provost CHST Idah

The Provost College of Health Sciences and Technology Idah, Doctor Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu says infrastructural development will be the priority of the college management next year.

He disclosed this while defending the 2022 budget of the college before the house standing committee on health and social services at the assembly complex in lokoja.

He said that the college management would ensure that the capital projects in the institution’s next year budget was implemented especially the thirty two office administrative duplex which Governor Yahaya Bello recently performed the foundation laying ceremony at the college.

While applauding the thirty percent of the total budget allocated to the education sector by Governor Yahaya Bello, the provost maintained that all courses in the college had been fully accredited and three new courses, dental surgery technician, epidemiology and disease control and public health technology have been introduced.

Similarly, the Chief Medical Director of Prince Abubakar Audu University Teaching Hospital, Anyigba, Doctor Simon Akogwu says the institution has completed the construction of its ultra modern clinical complex.

He made this known during the 2022 budget defence of the instruction at the assembly complex.

Doctor Akogwu said the ultra modern clinical complex would soon be equipped as the hospital was working on procurement processes but to ensure that the clinical departments of the institution were manned by competent consultants.
