Yuletide: Kogi Monarch Preaches Peace, Love and Tolerance
The Bajana of Obajana in Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State, HRH. Oba Idowu Isenibi has called on Nigerians to embrace peace, love and tolerance as Christians join the rest of the world to celebrate Christmas.
Oba Isenibi in a Statement made available by his Media Office said Nigeria can only overcome her insecurity problem if the trios of love, tolerance and peace are allowed to strive at all tiers of Government.
According to him, there can never be stability and Development without peace, urging the people to embrace peaceful Co-existence with one another to guarantee an egalitarian society.
He emphasized the need for sacrifice and Selflessness which are the lessons of the birth of Jesus Christ and called on the people to be law abiding always.
The Traditional Ruler congratulated the people of Obajana Community on the Christmas Celebration and wished them a prosperous new year ahead.
Oba Isenibi felicitated with the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole and members of the State Executive Council on the festive season and prayed for more wisdom to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
